FYI: Every woman needs a TMI girls night out. Every single one.

Myself and a few other local bloggers had a fun girls night out last week. Danielle of Simmworks Family was our host, and a great one if I don’t say so myself! It was a comfortable, pajama style evening with eats, treats and wine, which I am sure goes without saying! There were so many things that we talked about, you know, kids, parenting them, our careers, stressors, and our vaginas. Yes, vaginas. Due to our similarities, we got together to have open discussions about these things with others who understand our situations. Can I tell you how refreshing it is to speak openly with like minded women who can hear where you’re coming from without judging you? Oh, and we drank wine. Did I say that?

P2-Cottonelle_4_Pack_HugWe also talked about our clean routine in a fun, light hearted manner. Everyone poops, but women have those things we call vaginas and, well, you’ve gotta keep em clean! Cottonelle is encouraging families all over the United States to take a look at their bathroom clean routine. Is there toilet etiquette? What products do you use? How? Why?

My routine turns out to be pretty simple. I tend to lean towards softer toilet paper products rather than the cheap ones. Cottonelle’s Extra Comfort Care Toilet Paper tends to do the trick. Wipe once, then fold it over one time to wipe again if need be. And for the messier times, I keep a container of Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Wipes on our toilet at all times, they come in an upright dispenser that makes it super easy to grab one and go. I will admit that I had never tried them out until now, but I am glad I did. Gotta keep it fresh down there!

girl with mustache propWhen people use the phrase “like mother, like daughter”, they really know what they’re talking about! Your habits, routines and actions will rub right off on your girls as they age and learn what it’s like to be a woman in the world. Mine definitely have. I brought my daughter to Danielle’s house where she decided to use the toilet, count them, 3 times. What a way to welcome herself! She saw the Cottonelle wipes on the toilet and said she needed a wipey, “like the ones we have!” She is one of those girls who cannot stand to be a mess, so she insists upon cleaning herself up promptly. Yup, she gets it from her mama!

We keep our bums squeaky clean, Cottonelle is there to help us out! If you haven’t tried the Fresh Care wipes yet, GO. Get some. I love them, a quick clean between showers is just the ticket, especially during that time of the month.

Use TP and wipes together. Because duh! You’ll feel so much cleaner. Join the conversation on the Cottonelle Facebook page and let’s talk about your bum!
