We Went On A Kindness Safari with KIND at the Los Angeles Zoo!

Los Angeles Zoo Entrance, LA, California

My family got the chance to visit the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens on behalf of KIND and Zulily, they’re hosting these Kindness Safaris at zoos nationwide and I am so glad that we got to go!

This was the first time that my kids had ever been to the LA zoo, so they were pretty excited. We went on the perfect day, KIND Snacks had their booth all set up and we got to participate in the Kindness Safari! It included a scavenger hunt booklet which features interactive kindness activities inspired by animals. The kids also got a take-home kindness kit that comes in a complimentary lunch tote that kids can color on.

We walked around the zoo and found so many cool animals, and fun things to do. Here’s what we saw…

I encourage you to stop by your local zoo during the Kindness Safari, hosted by KIND. Bring the whole family and grab a KIND bag, there might be some goodies inside for you to snack on! When you’re ready to leave, take a few gorgeous flowers from the KIND booth and pass them along to someone else, just because. Teaching kindness is such an important value for kids to learn.
