Frozen Mixed Berry Custard Pie Recipe

Ingredients needed for this frozen mixed berry pie:

  • Dreyer’s Vanilla Custard
  • Assorted mixed berries
  • Graham cracker pie crust

fresh mixed berries

Start making your frozen berry pie

For starters, we do recommend that you start making this pie the night before you intend to eat it. As soon as you bring home your Dreyer’s® Frozen Custard, allow it to thaw in the refrigerator. I did this overnight.

Next, wash all of your berries, pat dry and divide them in half, keeping the better-looking, whole berries together, and the ok-looking berries together.

How to make Frozen Mixed Berry Vanilla Custard Pie

Fill your graham cracker crust with fresh berries

Put the ok-looking berries into the bottom of your graham cracker pie crust. Pour over about half of the Dreyer’s® Frozen Custard, until the pie crust is full and berries are covered. Pop it in the freezer on a flat surface for about 3 hours, or until frozen.

Decorate the top of your vanilla berry pie

Remove the vanilla custard pie from the freezer and arrange the better-looking berries on the top of the pie as desired. You can slice and serve right away, or re-freeze for future use.

My whole family loved this pie, the tart berries with the sweet vanilla custard are a great combination. Y’all, I just can’t believe how easy this frozen berry vanilla custard pie was to make, it turned out GREAT!

  • I am thinking the mint cookies and cream made into a pie, my daughter loves anything with mint for ice cream and cookies and cream so this custard would actually be a combination of two of her favorites.
