A holiday hot chocolate recipe

We’ve decorated the Christmas tree, hung our stockings with care, and have been decking the halls to our hearts’ content. We’ve caught a few holiday specials on TV, namely, Merry Christmas Charlie Brown, and we can’t help but notice: IT’S CHRISTMAS!

Easy peppermint hot chocolate recipe

One thing I love about the holidays is the warmth of family, all cozied up by the fire or at the table. The laughs, the joy, so many memories are made and kept. There’s no better way to celebrate than sharing a warm favorite in our household: peppermint hot chocolate. So we did. And it was marvelous.

In keeping up with the holiday spirit, candy cane hot cocoa was in order. I decided to use Sweet’N Low in place of any other sweetener, it has no calories and diabetic friendly for guests. The flavor combination of dark chocolate and peppermint truly soothes the soul. We make this peppermint hot chocolate from scratch, y’all gotta try this holiday drink recipe at home!
