You know how they say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Well, t is also the most DELICIOUS meal, my absolute favorite to eat! Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, french toast, you name it, I love it. We don’t always have time to cook an extravagant breakfast each morning, so finding ways to enjoy our breakfast on the go is a must!

I partnered with belVita breakfast biscuits earlier this year to try to create a breakfast recipe using their biscuits and shared it on Instagram. I am always game for quick and healthy breakfast ideas, so I definitely was up for the challenge! These healthy banana breakfast bars pair whole grain breakfast biscuits with Greek yogurt with cinnamon, honey, and fresh bananas – a delicious and easy breakfast treat. Healthy Banana Breakfast Bars with Cinnamon and Honey Greek Yogurt

Ingredients:

  • 6 belVita breakfast biscuits (I chose the cinnamon brown sugar flavor)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • a dash of cinnamon
  • sliced bananas
  • raw honey

Spreading cinnamon Greek yogurt on a healthy banana breakfast bar recipe

Listen, this has to be the easiest breakfast recipe ever. In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Place belVita breakfast biscuits on a plate or paper towel and spread equal amounts of the yogurt mixture on to each one. Arrange sliced bananas how you’d like them, then add a drizzle of honey to each breakfast biscuit. Now, you’re ready for the day with your healthy breakfast on the go!
