Are You Using The Wrong Car Seat?

How do you know if you are using the correct car seat for your child? I had the same question when Baby Girl hit 9 months and was busting out of her Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Seat. What’s the proper age for car seats, and what are the height and weight limits for each stage? How long do I keep my child in a rear-facing seat? Check out this infographic from Chicco that answers these questions and more. I love infographics, so much information all in one!

Baby Girl has been in a rear-facing convertible car seat since we made the switch, we’re thinking about facing her forward soon as she’s almost two years old. According to NHTSA.gov, car crashes are the leading cause of death in children ages 3 – 14 years of age. We plan to be the exception to this statistic. Learn the laws and regulations about baby car seats, toddler car seats and child booster seats in your state here.
