More to love with this simple margarita recipe

There are so many ways to enjoy watermelon margaritas. We prefer the simple, skinny version, but here are a few tweaks you can make to this easy margarita recipe to change it up:

Make it a frozen watermelon margarita

To make frozen blended margaritas, you can pre-freeze your watermelon cubes and the tequila. Omit the ice, and throw everything into your blender as listed in the recipe above. Make sure your other ingredients are chilled as well.

Make it a spicy watermelon margarita

Add a few shakes of tajin spice to your blender, or place a slice of jalapeño to the top of your finished margarita. Also, you can use tajin spice as the rimmer instead of sugar or salt!

Make it a watermelon margarita on the rocks

If you’re not a fan of the watermelon pulp in your drink and prefer a smooth cocktail, this watermelon margarita on the rocks is for you. After blending all of your ingredients, pour all items into a shaker or other strainer to filter the watermelon margarita juice out. Then pour over ice in the margarita glass, and serve with garnish.
