I felt this way about the Gyro Bowl in particular. It is an indestructible bowl that spins as it is moved and tossed about. The Gyro Bowl claims to have “kid-proof 360 degree technology” that prevents it’s contents from spilling. The infomercial aired a whole lot last year and earlier this year. Could a bowl really be spill-proof, let alone child-proof and indestructible?
MJ recently got his hands on a Gyro Bowl and we tested it out. It is actually pretty sturdy, we tossed some raisins into it and had him go to work!
It’s true, as much as MJ moved, twisted and turned the Gyro Bowl, not one raisin came out! I even told him to get wild with it. Still, no mess. As it is moved, the bowl rotates like a globe and the open side stays upward, keeping everything inside.
I cannot say that it is totally indestructible, I am sure that if you left it in the driveway and backed out over it, it would crunch. It passed our in-home tests with flying colors. We threw the Gyro Bowl across the room, kicked it around like a soccer ball, and even threw it up against the wall. No breakage, no mess!
Watch as MJ demonstrates…
The Gyro Bowl is pretty good for snack time, especially when you are on the go. Use it in the car, at the park, while shopping, or wherever without having to clean up a huge mess. It’s also fun to play with, MJ started filling it with a bunch of little things he found around the house and had a ball turning it round and round. Stop by and check out the Gyro Bowl on Amazon.
