Late summer, I became a first-time mom to a beautiful, healthy and happy baby boy that’s been the light of my days ever since. But as much joy as he brings me, like most infants, my tiny tot can be a grouchy Greg. At times, little to no entertainment will distract him other than being totted around in my arms until my carpal tunnel flares up, which is usually a sign that he’s been held to contentment again.
Typically fussier late evenings, the arrival of the Tiny Love 3-in-1 Starry Night Mobile-Soother-Night Light just a few nights ago proved to be a much-needed companion for my boy (and provided necessary relief for this achy wrists!). The multifunctional mobile, made for babies ages 0 months and up, has plenty of features to amuse the kiddies, including stars and moon-shaped toys that hang from a white and blue ruffled canopy and can rotate to up to nine relaxing songs.
But what really makes this mobile unique, as far as I’m concerned, is it’s moon and star ceiling projector, which lights up a dim room with a celestial display sure to keep the crankiest of babies tranquil.
Additionally, this device has volume control buttons and a mute button for easy adjustments and can be turned into a nightlight when the baby reaches toddler-hood. All that’s needed is four C batteries and a screw driver to put the three-piece apparatus together and voila!
Overall, my son really enjoyed Tiny Love’s Starry Night Mobile, spending long periods of time the last few nights since we’ve had it starring up at it and talking to the rotating trinkets as if they were his new friends. The Starry Night Mobile conveniently attaches to almost any crib and bassinet. I would like to see some sort of cushioning around the base of it, for a little peace of mind.
In addition to the Starry Mobile, Tiny Love was great enough to also send its Pack ‘N Go Mobile, which was an equal winner with my son during outings and car rides the last few days. With its bright colors, assorted shapes and noise-makers and its ability to hang from both strollers and car seats, among other things, thanks to it’s claw-like hook, the Pack-N-Go is a must-have for the on-the-go parent of an infant. Lets just say, grouchy has had plenty more reasons to smile these days.
