Don’t forget the batteries! I am working with Duracell, Toys “R” Us and Hasbro on a fun holiday sponsored campaign that reminds us all that we need to remember to buy batteries for our gifts!

Remember that Christmas when you opened your presents only to find that your toys wouldn’t work because your parents forgot to get batteries? I do, and it was no fun. Duracell wants to help parents remember to pick up batteries with the toys this year at Toys R Us so the fun can start right away!

Our boys got an early Christmas present today thanks to Toys R Us, Hasbro, and Duracell Batteries! We had so much fun opening the giant box we found on our doorstep to discover a Transformers Dinobots Grimlock and FurReal Friends GoGo Pup inside, along with C and AA Duracell batteries to make sure our toys could power up.
Both of them immediately thought that the Dinobot Grimlock was super cool! And Donovan exclaimed, “A puppy!” when he saw the FurReal GoGo Pup.

Once we got the toys out of their packaging, Donovan realized they needed batteries to work. So he checked the box again, and found some Duracell Quantum AA and C batteries.

We installed the batteries in the toys, and they were off!
Avery is afraid of dogs and was afraid of the FurReal GoGo Pup initially, but he warmed up after a while and took a turn walking it. We asked him what the puppy’s name was, and he immediately named her “Pink” for her pink bow and leash. Maybe Pink will help him conquer his fear of real dogs, too!

Both boys are dino enthusiasts so they LOVED Grimlock! He easily transforms from a Transformer into a Dinobot with the lever on his back.

His eyes light up and he makes dino sounds. Plus, he comes with an Optimus Prime action figure!

We’ve got plenty of Duracell batteries left over to keep our toys going strong. The way our boys play, even Duracell Quantum batteries don’t last forever, but they give us a great run!
Duracell, Hasbro, and Toys R Us have teamed up this holiday to bring some great deals to parents, too. On November 23, look for an $8 off coupon when you buy any Duracell batteries (4 pack or larger) along with FurReal Friends GO GO. This coupon will be available in the Sunday paper and online at HasbroRewards.com. On November 30, look for a $10 off coupon when you buy any Duracell batteries (4 pack or larger) along with Grimlock Transformers. This coupon will be available in the Sunday paper.
