Can you imagine a sea inspired Halloween playground with trick or treating, a dance party, and cute Halloween themed characters? It’s never too early for some Halloween fun, so we had to stop by Sea World San Diego’s Halloween Spooktacular!
Dress the kiddies up in their best costumes and come out to the bay for some spooky sea life fun! Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular combines the best of the sea, Shamu, dolphins, sea lions and penguins with the excitement of Halloween! There is a Halloween hub area that is full of stuff to do. When you’re all partied out, walk around the park, enjoy the exhibits, and my kids’ favorite part: TRICK OR TREATING! Put this one on your to-do list, we had a great time!
Here are my kids at the Halloween hub next to a pumpkin fish, pretty cool! These things were all over the place. I regret that we didn’t have costumes yet, all of the other kids had them, so make sure to wear yours.
The DJ booth, pumping out Halloween tunes, rocking out the crowd, and blowing bubbles!
In this area, kids can decorate cookies, paint pumpkins, and meet some friendly characters. Also, get your trick or treat on! You can bring your own bag, but they have some cute ‘Halloween Spooktacular’ bags that you can use. There are 10 trick or treat stations around the park, can you find them all?
Also, there are a few fun themed shows around the park. Sea World’s Halloween-themed shows include Clyde & Seamore’s Spooky Adventure at Sea Lion and Otter Stadium, and Sesame Street’s Countdown to Halloween over at Sesame Street® Bay of Play®. We were able to watch Clyde and Seamore’s show, complete with Halloween music, and a spooky backdrop and plot. They were pretty funny!

We also took the time to take in the beauty of the animals and sea life.
The kids were very stunned looking into turtle reef. It makes you feel like you’re under water in the ocean with them!
We can never miss the Blue Horizons Dolphin Show. It’s energetic theatrics include lights, music, dolphins, pilot whales, exotic birds and humans, who all come together to flip and dive and make this show thrilling and entertaining!
Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular is a Must-See!

I received tickets to a special Halloween event at Sea World. No compensation was received and opinions are all my own.
Thank you for supporting SeaWorld! Isn’t the marine life amazing? Did you go to the Shamu show, One Ocean?
