Yield: 6 servings

Materials

  • 1 box Hostess® Sno balls® white
  • 1 bag mini chocolate chips
  • 1 box Mike and Ike candies I used the orange pieces
  • 1 bag M&M's
  • 1 package thin licorice laces
  • 1 tube white frosting
  • 1 wooden skewer stick or toothpick
  • 6 decorative paper straws

Instructions

  • Unwrap your Hostess® Sno balls®. With your skewer stick, poke a small hole into the middle of the cake where you want to put the carrot nose (Mike & Ike orange candy).
  • Push orange Mike and Ike candy down into the hole and do the same process for the eyes and mouth with the mini chocolate chips.
  • For the earmuffs, measure out a piece of licorice to the appropriate size and glaze a thin strip of icing across the top of the cake. Place a licorice lace on the frosting glue.
  • Turn the snowman to the side and add a dab of frosting on each end where the ears would be. Add an M&M to each ear.
  • Insert straws into the bottom of the cake as far as you can, without poking them out through the top of the snowman. Allow frosting to set for about an hour before serving.
