Easy Bacon and Green Beans Recipe Side Dish

- 1 14-1/2 oz. can Del Monte whole green beans drained
- 6 slices bacon crumbled
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- salt and pepper to taste
In a large skillet, fry bacon slices until crispy. Remove bacon from the pan and set it aside to cool.
Retain the bacon grease in the skillet and heat over medium heat. Add minced garlic and diced onions to the pan. Stir to coat, about 2-3 minutes, then add crumbled bacon to the pan.
Add green beans to the bacon mixture and lightly season with salt and pepper as desired. Stir for a minute or two until all ingredients are combined.
Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the green beans are tender. Stir every 3-5 minutes and re-cover.
