Healthy Blueberry Avocado Smoothie Recipe

This delicious and easy smoothie recipe uses fresh avocado and blueberries for a healthy, protein-packed drink.

Equipment

  • 1 high-speed blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups almond milk or milk of your choice
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries or fresh, add ice (see below)
  • 1 avocado ripe, pitted
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • ice optional
  • shredded coconut, extra blueberries optional topping

Instructions
 

  • Pour milk into the blender first to coat the inside and prevent sticking and clumping.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the blender.
  • Close it up tight and blend on high for 30–60 seconds until smooth and creamy. If you still have chunks, pulse the blender until they are mixed in.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency as desired.  Pour into a glass, garnish with the extra blueberries and coconut, if you’d like, and enjoy!
