Get Ready To Experience LEGO Ninjago World at LEGOLAND California!

The New LEGO Ninjago World at Legoland California - my kids are so excited for this! Be sure to stop by when you visit San Diego with the whole family this summer

LEGO® Ninjago® World at LEGOLAND California is opening up this week and we couldn’t be more excited! Complete with a high energy ninja themed ceremony, we got the chance to experience the new attraction at it’s preview last week. Here’s a sneak peak, a must-see for LEGO Ninjago fans everywhere!

Legoland California's new Ninjago World

LEGO Ninjago World at LEGOLAND is the newest area inside of the park that combines LEGO’s with a ninja flair. It is adorned with Asian themed decor with a bunch of fun attractions, including a neat virtual ride that has riders testing their ninja skills, a rock climbing wall, great food at Ninja Kitchen for a little bit of Asian street cuisine, Wu’s Warehouse for some ninja themed merchandise and 22 new LEGO models!

The ceremony was pretty exciting – as the sound of the beating drums filled the air, Sensei came out and introduced Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane, the 4 main ninjas who represent each of their elements: fire, lightning, earth and ice. There was an awesome ninja show, which ended with a huge bang of confetti and streamers to celebrate! Ninjago World features five attractions all designed to test guests balance, agility, speed and creativity:  Zane’s Temple Build, Kai’s Spinners, Cole’s Rock Climb, Jay’s Lightning Drill and NINJAGO The Ride.

I would say that Ninjago® the Ride is the obvious main attraction here, it’s a technological breakthrough as far as theme park rides. It uses Ninjago themed cars that move along on a track that enables guests to fight villains in different 4D scenes by throwing ice, fire balls, shock waves and lightning – all without a hand held device! Riders use hand gestures above an air blowing sensor and collect points throughout the adventure and finally must defeat the giant serpentine villain.

This model is Zane’s Temple Build, a giant ornate LEGO Monastery created out of 859,554 LEGO bricks that stands nine-feet high in the center of the courtyard. Guests can build freely with LEGO bricks found in this area.

If you’re looking for a bite to eat, you can find some delicious Asian themed food here at Ninja Kitchen. Choose from Bahn Mi sandwiches on fresh baked baguettes, and steamed bao buns with lemongrass chicken, sweet chili tofu, or pork belly.
