Christmas Time At Disneyland – Experience The Magic Of Disneyland Holidays!
Holiday Attractions At Disneyland Park
We loved watching the mid-day Main Street A Christmas Fantasy parade
One of the new attractions this year is the A Christmas Fantasy Parade! Complete with all of your favorite characters, this parade is perfect for the holidays at Disneyland. It is Christmas themed and features holiday decorated floats with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, toy soldiers, Disney Princesses, cheerful snowmen, and even Santa Claus!
Marvel at the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle
At night, the Sleeping Beauty Castle is lit up with a dazzling display of over 50,000 lights and is used as the back drop to the fireworks show (below). It is such a beautiful winter display that is illuminated every night, this is one of the most magical sights during Christmas time at Disneyland!
The Believe… In Holiday Magic fireworks show is a must see, with a special surprise!
Disneyland Holidays are even more magical with the special Believe… In Holiday Magic fireworks show. It is dazzling like you’ve never seen before, using the infamous Sleeping Beauty Castle as a backdrop. After this spectacular show, Southern Californians are delighted with a special surprise – SNOW! Yes, as you’re watching the fireworks show finale, snow begins to lightly descend on Main Street, wowing guests. It also snows near It’s A Small World and Rivers of America.
Christmas At Disney’s California Adventure Park
Cars Land is all decorated for the holidays with new attractions!
If you’re heading down Route 66 to get to Radiator Springs, you will be met with Christmas cheer along the way! Look up, because you’ll see festive tire wreaths and garland, as well as tons of other holiday decor. They have also transformed two holiday themed attractions in Cars Land – Luigi’s Joy To The Whirl, and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree. I think Cars Land is the best in all of Disney’s California Adventure!
Enjoy the Festival of Holidays with holiday themed food, shows, and fun
Embrace the Festival of Holidays, an international event that brings Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali and Three Kings Day to life in California! Enjoy international foods in the Festive Foods Marketplace, where you can try different holiday cuisines from various cultures and traditions. They also have lots of holiday entertainment, including holiday concerts, a fun cavalcade starring Elana of Avalor, a visit with Santa Claus, and Viva Navidad, an authentic holiday celebration complete with street musician, dancers, and the Three Caballeros!
The World of Color – Season of Light show is amazing
One of our favorite things to watch at California Adventure is the World of Color show,. and the new holiday version does not disappoint! Classic Disney scenes and songs are paired with popular holiday themes and music to bring in the holidays at Disneyland Resort. This lighting and water show is a popular attraction, we loved the World of Color – Season of Light show so much. Get there early, you’ll want a good seat for this one!
