Living in San Diego, CA, I am lucky to be close enough to frequent the Los Angeles area. There is so much to do and see, especially for tourists in Hollywood. Universal Studios, City Walk, Celebrity Home Tours, Famous hand prints on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Wax Museum and even the infamous Hollywood sign are top attractions. Check out the center of American cinema, the famous place where stars live and where tons of movies, film and entertainment thrive!
While in Hollywood last month for the Disney Pixar Brave Movie Premiere, we got a chance to stay in the heart of it all at the Hilton Garden Inn. Newly remodeled with modern styles and a little Hollywood flair, this Los Angeles hotel is situated right where you would want to be! This hotel is perfect for a leisure, family or business stay, it has all of the amenities including a restaurant, swimming pool, fitness center, children’s playpen, room service, laundry service, a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry Market, business center, free high speed internet access and more. Will you have to do anything at all? Not if you don’t want to!
One thing I require in a hotel is cleanliness, comfort and quiet. I like to be out, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the day, but when it’s time to turn in, I want to relax and shut down. After walking the streets to and from the action packed Brave movie premiere and after party, I hopped in the steamy shower and melted into one of the plush Serta Perfect Sleeper beds. Aahhhh…
I ordered room service that night, I was beat! The next day, I enjoyed breakfast at the Great American Grill, their main restaurant, and was able to wind down at night in the bar and lounge area with happy hour snacks and drink specials.
And what I must do next time… pool and spa! I didn’t get a chance to get in, our schedule was packed. I love the HOLLYWOOD sign, so fitting 🙂
If you are looking to stay in the Hollywood, California area, the Hilton Garden Inn is a fabulous choice! It was comfortable, the food was delicious, and I even got a little work done at the desk in my room. I would definitely go back, I relish in any type of retreat from the norm and they’ve got it covered. A huge thanks to Disney for putting us up at this hotel during the Brave Cars Land event, it was truly a blast!

Ok, one more fun one… Whoopi and I at the Hilton Garden Inn! This is a wax figure that was situated in the lobby from the Hollywood Wax Museum. It was so life-like!
