Ingredients:

  • 1 container Dreyer’s® Frozen Custard, Old Fashioned Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, divided
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries, divided
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries, divided
  • 1/2 cup fresh blackberries, divided
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust

As soon as you bring home your Dreyer’s® Frozen Custard, allow it to thaw in the refrigerator. I did this overnight. Wash all of your berries, pat dry and divide them in half, keeping the better-looking, whole berries together, and the ok-looking berries together.

How to make Frozen Mixed Berry Vanilla Custard Pie

Put the ok-looking berries into the bottom of your graham cracker pie crust. Pour over about half of the Dreyer’s® Frozen Custard, until the pie crust is full and berries are covered. Pop it in the freezer on a flat surface for about 3 hours, or until frozen.

Remove from freezer and arrange the better-looking berries on the top of the pie as desired. You can slice and serve right away, or re-freeze for future use. My whole family loved this pie, the tart berries with the sweet vanilla custard are a great combination. Y’all, I just can’t believe how easy this frozen mixed berry vanilla custard pie was to make, it turned out GREAT!

To us, frozen treats are a summer tradition. Next time, I am going to get the Mint Cookies ‘N Cream flavor and smash up some extra cookies and chocolate pieces in a chocolate pie crust. Sounds dreamy — no — creamy! Dreyer’s® Frozen Custard is available in the freezer aisle of your local retailer, including Target, Kroger, Safeway, Walmart, Publix, etc.

  • I am thinking the mint cookies and cream made into a pie, my daughter loves anything with mint for ice cream and cookies and cream so this custard would actually be a combination of two of her favorites.
