Rogue One: Experience Photos of Lucasfilm Headquarters, Skywalker Ranch

We went to San Francisco for the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story movie press day and it was amazing! Check out what we did with these photos of Lucasfilm headquarters and a visit to Skywalker Ranch.

How lucky are we to be able to attend the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story press day in San Francisco?! We got the chance to visit Skywalker Ranch, tour and take photos of Lucasfilm headquarters, see clips of the film, and even interview the cast and directors. The Star Wars franchise is a pretty big deal, so we feel honored to be able to cover this event!

VISITING SKYWALKER RANCH

Movie press day events are pretty cool. Lots of members of the media got to learn some behind the scenes info about the film, and even interview some of the cast members and crew! The Rogue One movie press day began at Skywalker Ranch, where we pre-screened clips of the movie, then enjoyed a fun press reception.

The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. There were about 100 journalists, bloggers, and photographers present and the bubbly was flowing!

Storm Troopers canvased to place, just to make sure there were no wrong doings occurring, of course. We snapped a group photo with them!

These super awesome mannequins are modeling the Rogue One characters’ uniforms they wore in the movie. The Empire better watch out, they are battle ready!

The next day, we resumed at Lucasfilm headquarters with a look at some of the Rogue One Star Wars merchandise and amazing cast interviews! I will be sharing these interviews in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Here’s the lobby of Lucasfilm headquarters. You can see that there are tons of Star Wars figurines and memorabilia, how fun! Oh, and Darth Vader stands taller than every man in the building!

We also got to take a private tour Lucasfilm headquarters, there are so many neat movie memorabilia, props, and old movie artifacts that were made at Lucasfilm! I took so many photos of Lucasfilm headquarters that I can’t share them all here. I think I will write another post in the future because they are simply amazing! The one that you must see is this: we got a demonstration of the way droids are animated. K2SO is one of the droids that fights with the rebels in Rogue One, and it was so cool to see how they use the motion suit in the photo below to make him move!
