This is a unique California inspired restaurant with the chicken and the egg as the center of the menu. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options are available, I had the chilaquiles and my kids tried a pancake flight. OMG. The Mission is one of my go-to best breakfast spots in San Diego, I love their fresh fare! There is a whole gluten free menu here, which is awesome, and they also have a lot of good Mexican breakfast items, the chilaquiles are really good. I like this cute little rustic restaurant, they have an extensive menu with all of the breakfast favorites, and a few unique items, too. Just like the name implies, this place has arguably the best pancakes in San Diego, they have so many amazing varieties! I have been here several times and I liked to get the sage chicken and smoked bacon waffles plate with a maple reduction, eggs and fried leeks, it is amazing and I am so sad to be gluten free now!
