When the Her Highway team asked me if I was free for lunch in La Jolla and a ride in a brand new, $300,000 Aston Martin, I made it a point to go! How often do you get the chance to ride in a car like that?
The destination was Hotel La Jolla, a beautiful hotel in the San Diego beach area. La Jolla is known for being a more affluent part of town, so I am sure you can guess what type of hotel we went to. It is absolutely stunning, to say the least. If you are looking for places to stay in San Diego, this is it.
The Stunning Hotel La Jolla In San Diego Is A Taste of the Pacific Coast!
Hotel La Jolla in San Diego, recently acquired by the Hilton Curio Collection (formerly Kimpton Hotels), is a little slice of heaven along the Pacific coast. They re-opened in 2012 after a $4 million dollar renovation, which is evident, the detail in this place is amazing!

As a boutique-style hotel, this spot boasts modern decor in an open nature-like setting. Overlooking the ocean, Hotel La Jolla sits nicely along the Pacific coast and is in walking distance to beaches, shopping, dining, cafes, surf and so much more. This is the perfect place to stay because there are so many things to do in La Jolla!

I was able to take a tour of Hotel La Jolla in San Diego, everything is just… wow. The lobby, the guest rooms, CUSP, the Hotel La Jolla restaurant, the pool, everything is decorated beautifully in this inviting space.
Featuring 110 guest luxury guest rooms, many ocean-facing, this hotel prides on having all of the traditional hotel amenities, plus ceiling to floor windows, patios, plush bedding, and even a view of the outdoors from the glass shower. Whether you are traveling for business, romance, or with family, this could be a stay to never forget.

Hilton’s Curio Collection is known for their unique, boutique style, and the decor in CUSP is like no other! Guests can stop in and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine, stop in for brunch with the family, and even socialize at the bar at this beautiful place.
Hilton says: Cusp’s menu consists of flavorful dishes with beautiful presentation, including seasonal produce, fresh grilled fish, house made pastas, local meats and rustic flatbreads. It’s all paired with an extensive wine list and artful cocktails to ensure a meal whose main ingredient is delight.

Can’t beat the nearby beach either (course I’m sort of partial to it, since that’s where my husband asked me to marry him).
I was just looking for a place for my mom and her sisters, they take a trip every year and are staying close to home so San Diego was one of the places I was thinking about. I had never heard of this hotel, thank so much, I just may book a suite for them! Great post.
