Ride The Red Car Trolley on Buena Vista Street, 1920’s Style! {Disney California Adventure Park}

In addition to the amazing Cars Land attraction, Buena Vista Street is one of the newest attractions at Disney California Adventure Park. Upon going through the iconic California Adventure entrance gates, you will see it. A bit like Main Street USA at Disney World, Orlando, FL and Disneyland in Anaheim, CA, Buena Vista Street is where your amazing Disney adventure begins; in a nostaligic Los Angeles setting from the roaring 20’s.

I like to think of Buena Vista Street as sort of the “Downtown” of California Adventure Park. It leads to all avenues of the themed lands and attractions and features vintage inspired buildings with shopping, dining, and entertainment throughout. When I walked into the park, I was greeted by the new Red Car Trolley that circles it’s way through Buena Vista Street, Mickey was the conductor! Inspired by Los Angeles’ historic Pacific Electric Red Cars from the 1920s, it offers tours through the park and makes 4 stops through Hollywood Land and beyond. The conductors wear 20’s style uniforms and tell historical tales as they blow the trolley whistle. Toot toot!

Inside Carthay Circle Theater

The Red Car Trolley also makes a stop at the Carthay Circle Theater, the center focal point of Disney California Adventure Park. Inspired by the place that Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs premiered in 1937, Carthay Circle Theater is home to a restaurant and lounge and serves as the perfect anchor of the Buena Vista Plaza.

Mickey dancing with the Red Car New Boys

Be sure to keep an eye out for the next Red Trolley Car, you can hop on, take the tour, and even see The Red Car New Boys roll in singing “California, Here I Come” and other fun songs from that era. They’ll have you dancing, singing and interacting in such a fun way, you’ll feel like you are living in the 1920’s!

Be sure to come on out to California Adventure and check out the newest Buena Vista Street and Cars Land attractions. Visit Disney California Adventure online:
