Spring is a time for soft feminine fashions, scrupulous pedicures, and the newest sunnier shades of lip gloss and nail polish. Beautifully glowing skin is important when slipping into the fresh new fashions of spring. Scrub away that dry winter skin with a DIY brown sugar body scrub that can be created from ingredients that are natural (like sugar and essential oils) and easy to find.
The first thing you will need is an exfoliant, household sugar or salt work well for that purpose. We chose brown sugar because sugar is kinder to sensitive skin than salt, however salt works great on the stubborn dry, rough skin on elbows and heels. Brown sugar is good for the skin because it is natural and has smaller particles, which makes it best to use on the face and other sensitive skin areas.
