Las Vegas Vacation With Kids? YES!

Living in Southern California, I am quite close to Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a great destination for a quick weekend vacation, it’s only a hop, skip and a jump away! A 45 minute flight or a 4 – 5 hour drive will get you there, stat.

In the past, I had gone to Vegas with friends, family, and the hubs, all adults. Many people know Las Vegas as a party destination, hence the name “Sin City”, and it is. There are so many other things to do there, you can definitely take the whole family and find entertainment and fun for all!

The next time you want to hit the Las Vegas strip with the kids, use this guide to help you navigate your way to fun!

Hotels – Where to Stay in Las Vegas with Kids

Monte Carlo Hotel , Las Vegas, NV

I would recommend the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino to get the best all around Vegas experience. I stayed there a couple months ago and I think it is a great choice for families. It’s very modern looking, the rooms are top notch and the hotel offers plenty of shows, dining, nightlife options, casino play, shopping, spa services, and more, yet it’s not “brand new”, so it won’t be super expensive. Affordability is key on vacation. My favorite part of the hotel is the Monte Carlo Pool, complete with a lazy river, wave pool, a sand volleyball court, cabanas and food galore! Also, the hotel is located on the strip, so you are still in the center of the action when you want to be.

Take the free tram to visit other properties, you can hop on at the Monte Carlo and ride down to City Center and the Bellagio hotel. Circus Circus is another option, though I have not stayed there in over a decade so I have no idea what it looks like these days.
