Can you believe that it’s already September? Look at this handsome guy, I can’t believe that he’s already in the 3rd grade – he even picked out his own outfit for the day. Where is the pause button on the remote control of life?
When school starts, it’s always a reminder that time FLIES: the kids are getting older, smarter and more independent! When it comes to clothing, the independence thing can be somewhat of a challenge – I need them to wear clothing that’s affordable, durable and appropriate, while my kids want to be able to express themselves as individuals with their own style choices.
I support authentic self-expression, it’s important for kids to find who they are, what they like, and allow them to show it! I decided that the best compromise is for us to shop together, that way they can show me what styles the like and I can provide the ones that work for all of us.
