Fall is coming soon, which means summers end is near. It’s the hottest time of the year and we’re trying to keep cool without air conditioning at home. Staying cool in the heat is easy with CULER®!
Living in sunny Southern California means we have ideal temperatures year round. We don’t really experience “seasons”, but COOL from November – April, and WARM from May – October. For the most part, there are never too many extreme hot and cold days, but August is definitely the hottest month down this way.
My place was built in the 80’s, and central air conditioning did not come with. We try different things to keep cool on days that hit 90+ degrees, and it’s been pretty tough to do since the indoors tends to heat up to the same temperature as what’s outside! Lucky for us, CULER sent me their DUET™ Portable Evaporative Cooler to try at home, something we definitely needed.
Cool off with the CULER® DUET™ Portable Evaporative Cooler
CULER makes these life saving portable cooling devices, they’re not necessarily air conditioners, but they work by evaporating water into tiny particles that blow as a refreshing burst of air. You can feel a different kind of cool throughout the room. They can be moved with you from room to room, both indoors and outdoors, and the technology they use allows these portable coolers use less electricity than regular AC units.
Staying cool in the heat: A difference you can feel
I think that CULER portable evaporative coolers are meant to be personal cooling fans, so they’re perfect for staying cool in the heat in bedrooms, bathrooms, small offices, and other similar areas that need cooling. This cooling fan is easy to set up, just plug it in, fill the tank with water, and turn it on! Also, the DUET requires very low maintenance, you can point the airflow vents in different directions according to where you need it, control fan speeds at the push of a button, and I love the fact that I can move this bad boy anywhere I go in the house!
If you’re looking for a solution to beat the heat, I can highly recommend the CULER DUET Portable Evaporative Cooler. There’s also a SOLO version with one airflow vent, this would work perfect as a portable personal cooler. I like to use the powerful fan only option sometimes when I just want to circulate a little bit of air around the house – works like a charm!
