Monster Halloween Candy Bark
Halloween is almost here, y’all – time to bring on the spooky treats!
If you’re looking for a fun Halloween sweet snack idea, this spooky Monster Halloween Candy Bark should do the trick! Made entirely out of edible candies, this bark is easy to make, and fun to eat. Serve at a Halloween party, or bag them up individually to hand out to trick or treaters. Here’s how I made it…
How to Make Spooky Monster Halloween Candy Bark
- 4 cups white chocolate chips
- green food coloring
- 20 edible monster eyes
- 1/4 cup candy corn
- 5 – 6 Halloween Oreo® Cookies
You’ll also need:
- 13 x 9 cookie sheet
- parchment or wax paper
- 1 zipper sandwich bag
Put white chocolate chips into a large, microwave safe bowl. Heat at 50% power for 1 minute, stir, and repeat the process until all chips are melted. Put a couple of scoops of the melted white chocolate into the zipper bag and set aside.
Stir in green food coloring into the large bowl and mix well, pour the green chocolate into the covered cookie sheet. Spread evenly to each corner until the bottom is completely covered. Snip a corner of the zipper bag and lightly drizzle the white chocolate over the entirety of the green on the cookie sheet.
Gently place each candy and cookie into the green chocolate, pressing each piece in firmly. Scatter them randomly, accept for the monster eyes, which should be placed in pairs next to each other. When you’re finished decorating, pop the tray into the refrigerator for 2 hours. Remove, lift the parchment paper from the sides to remove the Halloween candy bark from the pan and break into chunks. That’s it!
