This rock-a-bye baby shower theme idea is such a fun idea for a boy’s baby shower party! Check out these fun rock and roll party ideas to welcome the new baby.
Let’s rock! A unique boys baby shower theme
A friend of mine is expecting her first baby: a little boy. Throwing a baby shower shows a great deal of support, love, and help for a new mother. It was only right that she received the best of the best!
Her best friend put together the cutest baby shower theme for boys: Rock-A-Bye Baby! I had not seen this done before, what a great boys baby shower theme. Check out the details of this rock n’ roll baby shower party below.
Rock-A-Bye Baby Shower Theme
This rock-a-bye baby shower theme is such a cute idea! From the rock-themed decor to the backstage VIP passes, the amount of cuteness is over the top. No detail was spared in celebrating this amazing rock star!
Rock A Bye baby shower invitations
I didn’t save my invitation for this party, so I do not have a photo to share. Here are a few ideas for rock and roll party invitations…
Rock and roll baby shower decorations
This baby shower took place on the patio area of a restaurant, so we were able to decorate all over. Black, white, turquoise blue, and hints of silver were the colors chosen and used throughout. Love the cute “Rock-a-Bye Baby” sign and favor bags!
This custom-made baby shower banner with the baby’s name is a great, personal touch. I love how it matches the overall baby shower theme with the colors and patterns.
Make sure you give baby shower guests their VIP backstage passes!
When guests arrived, they were given VIP backstage passes. These were used in the traditional “don’t say baby” game, instead of taking each other’s pins, you take their VIP pass!
The photo below shows a great idea for a simple, yet cute centerpiece. A vase, flowers, ribbon, and paper with the baby’s initial make an easy, on-theme table decor item. This one is filled with marbles, but you can fill it with tissue paper, water, or anything else that matches.
The Rock and Roll baby party food
Most of the food for this boys baby shower party was provided by the restaurant, but there were a few themed snacks and desserts to go with the “rock style” decor. Here’s the dessert table, I love the black and white chevron accents…
These chocolate-dipped marshmallows have cute star-themed rock star toppers…
Rock and Roll baby shower cake ideas
These red velvet cupcakes were a hit! I love the rocker onesies, baby’s initial, and rattles as toppers, they are so cute! There were some matching blue and white cake pops, too (bottom right corner).
Rockabye baby shower games
There were a few fun games, such as the “don’t say baby” game using the VIP passes mentioned above, build a baby out of a tootsie roll, and a drink out of the bottle race. I loved this little “autograph” station, where guests can sign special onesies for the new baby! Such a lovely keepsake.
As guests left, a fun farewell party favor was given. These are large chocolate chip cookies in black paper CD sleeves with “thank you” stickers on them. Adorable!
Enjoy your baby shower party!
Everything turned out marvelous! No need to stick to the overused themes, the Rock-a-Bye Baby shower theme is so unique. Hope you enjoyed this baby shower idea and can use it for an upcoming shower.
