We loved staying at Club Regina Los Cabos Resort! If you are planning your next Baja Mexico vacation, this Cabo resorts for families is perfect for you to stay and play in the Los Cabos corridor.
Family vacation in Cabo
What do you do when you FINALLY have all of your family members’ schedules aligned around the holiday season? You take a family trip!
We all have such busy schedules these days that it gets really hard to plan family vacations. The holidays are not the most ideal time to travel price-wise, but we had no other options. To Mexico, we go!
One of the best Los Cabos resorts
For this trip, we stayed along the resort corridor in Cabo in a nice suite that was perfect for our party of 5. Club Regina is a stunning oceanfront hotel in Cabo right along the Sea of Cortez. It features beautiful Spanish-style architecture with 142 rooms and suites that all boast an beautiful ocean view.
There are so many wonderful amenities at this Los Cabos resort. You will enjoy swimming in 4 pools (one is adults only), 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a coffee bar, a fitness center, spa services, direct beach access, and more!
Raintree’s Club Regina Los Cabos
Club Regina in Cabo is managed by Raintree Vacation Club and is not affiliated with the nearby Westin Resort. Raintree runs a few other properties in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and other places around the world.
“Enjoy an unforgettable vacation in the best hotel in Los Cabos, located on the beautiful coast of the Sea of Cortez. Club Regina Los Cabos Reviews
Club Regina is not a super fancy, over-the-top resort. It is located on the tourist corridor between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas and is fairly mid-priced as it is a smaller, condo-style timeshare resort. Look – we love a high-priced luxury resort like Grand Velas Los Cabos, but we can’t always afford it with so many family members!
Los Cabos Resorts for families
We like this Cabo hotel for families because it has the space and amenities we need when we travel. This property has studios and suites, some with kitchens, jetted tubs, pull-out sleepers sofa beds, and connecting room options to expand your living space.
We stayed in a Club Suite, which has a king bed in a separate room, a pull-out sectional-style sofa, a split-level living room, a kitchenette, a jetted tub, and a balcony overlooking the ocean. This suite sleeps 4 people, and there is one larger room type like this one that sleeps 6 people.
This Los Cabos resort comes with wonderful customer service and is very clean and well-maintained. Club Regina Los Cabos offers plenty of amenities throughout the property, as well as the ability to help with off-site excursions and activities in Los Cabos and beyond.
They also have golf cart shuttles that will pick you up and drop you off at different places around the resort. They are just a phone call away!
Here are some more Club Regina Los Cabos photos:
The sparkling pools are all lovely and refreshing. The adult pool is obviously a little quieter with a cute swim-up bar. The main pool is a bit larger and has a shallow area for kids that spills over into the main pool.
This pool is located right next to the Altura restaurant, and they serve lunch and poolside snacks. We enjoyed fresh towels, fresh cocktails, and fresh ceviche!
Things to know about Club Regina Los Cabos Resort
- Is Club Regina Los Cabos All-Inclusive? No, it is not. As mentioned above, this is a more low-key Cabo hotel with restaurants and bars where you can order food as you go.
- I personally do not recommend this property for families with disabled persons, or those who walk with a cane, use a wheelchair, crutches, etc. This resort is built on a cliffside along the Sea of Cortez and requires lots of walking on pathways at an incline and up and down several sets of stairs to get to the rooms, pools, beach, restaurants, and other facilities. They do have shuttles that will take you wherever you want to go, but you will have to call in advance and hope that one is available when you need it.
- Raintree timeshare pitch – When you check in, they will try to see if you are interested in joining their vacation club. If you are, great! If not, like we weren’t, just politely decline and you can go on with your day.
- Is the private beach swimmable at Club Regina? No, you cannot swim at the beach area at this resort. The waves and current in this area tend to be very strong and it is very rocky. Lay out on the sand, dip your toes in the water, and enjoy a little splashing on shore!
