We decided to put our ginger ale to work. Sure, it’s ok on the rocks, but why not go for something fun? I took one of the Seagram’s cocktail recipes and twisted it up a little to make this Watermelon Cooler Punch. Made with fresh watermelon cubes, this would be a great summer party drink for sure, it tastes very flavorful and is a little healthier than traditional juices. My family was delighted!
Watermelon Cooler Punch
Ingredients:
- 2 cups watermelon, cubed
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 can Seagram’s Ginger Ale
Make it!
So simple. Combine the watermelon, water, sugar and lemon juice in a blender or food processor and pulse until thoroughly blended. Pour into a large beverage container, if you do not like pulp, strain this mixture first to remove watermelon bits. Add your Seagram’s Ginger Ale and stir. Serve over ice or chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. That’s it, now relax and enjoy!
This watermelon cooler punch made the perfect kids summer drinks, so refreshing! To make summer alcoholic drinks for adults, spike your Watermelon Cooler Punch with a little clear liquor, such as vodka, in place of the water. Stop by Seagram’s website to learn more about the new and improved ginger ale and check out the other recipes there and on Facebook. The strawberry basil mojito sounds amazing!
