Hey SoCal – there’s a new grocery store in town! I recently partnered with ALDI to share my streamlined shopping experience with you. Get ready for high quality food at low prices at your new ALDI grocery store in Southern California.
I don’t know about you all, but it seems like I spend lots of time planning, shopping for, prepping, and preparing nutritious meals for my family. I enjoy it, I think it’s important to choose the best quality foods for my household, but the last thing I want to do is spend tons of cash on those groceries. I am thrilled to announce that ALDI, our newest low price grocer, is in town – they’ve recently expanded down here to good ol’ Southern California and I am so excited that they did!
ALDI has quite a unique, yet simple concept within their stores, they are able to provide high quality foods at affordable prices that you wouldn’t even believe. ALDI promises the best of the best – crisp, organic produce, gluten-free products, USDA Choice beef, fresh flowers, and even beer and wine. Here’s how they are able to make shopping simpler, smarter, and more affordable:
How does ALDI concept streamline the grocery shopping experience?
Smaller store, less to sort through – ALDI carries only the most commonly purchased items in their stores. Instead of having 3,376 brands of ketchup on their shelves like traditional grocery store, they choose to stock only the most popular. As a result, an ALDI grocery store is a bit smaller than others, which means you can navigate aisles quickly, make your purchases, and get on with your day.
ALDI has it’s own brands! – ALDI stores are stocked 90 percent of their own with ALDI brand foods. Their products are made of the same, or even higher, quality than national brands. Products are tested in their Test Kitchen, making sure they taste good and use the best ingredients.
The Double Guarantee – ALDI is so confident about their own brand of products that they Double Guarantee them! If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with any product, they will gladly replace the product AND refund your money. To receive the Double Guarantee, the product packaging and any unused product must be returned to your local ALDI Store Manager.
How is ALDI able to charge low prices for such delicious quality food products?
Smaller stores means conservation – Smaller stores means their rent is lower, less energy is used, less employees are working, and more savings can be passed dowm to consumers.
No shopping cart wranglers – No need to hire someone to collect shopping carts – each ALDI grocery store operates on the quarter system. Pop a quarter in the cart machine and get it back when you return your cart. This way, everyone does their part. So simple!
Less inventory – Like I mentioned above, ALDI only carries the most commonly purchased items in their stores. This means that their stock room is much smaller than a traditional grocery store would be, making inventory a breeze.
As part of my partnership with ALDI, I got a really cool, loaded delivery box of items from ALDI to try and share with you all. They sent so many great products and recipe ideas from the ALDI Test Kitchen packed up in there – coffee, seasonings, olive oil, crackers, juice, canned foods, local honey, grains and more! I am going to use some of these in a recipe next week, stay tuned for a fresh lemon and fruit bruschetta recipe!
Let me just tell you, I am SO HAPPY that ALDI is here. Quality food at low prices, and an easy to navigate store layout make this a win in my book!Stop by ALDI grocery store in Southern California and check it out, visit the ALDI website for locations and follow along with ALDI on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram!
