Our family likes to get together and do pot luck style parties, and this crispy baked ravioli recipe is going to be our go-to appetizer recipe to bring to all of them!
Try this baked and toasted ravioli
Need a good finger food recipe that will knock your guest’s socks off? While we love making our loaded BBQ chicken potato skins, this ravioli appetizer is really easy to make, and it is a crowd please for sure. Using refrigerated ravioli and just a few more ingredients, this oven toasted ravioli recipe is not fried, yet still nice and crispy with a Parmesan crust. Here’s the recipe, we really like how this one turned out!
Oven Toasted Ravioli Recipe With A Parmesan Crust
Ravioli appetizer prep
To get started, first preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Set aside.
Coat and bread the ravioli bites
In another large bowl, combine the Italian breadcrumbs with the Parmesan cheese. Dip your ravioli pieces into the egg mixture first, then coat each piece of ravioli in the bread crumb mixture. Make sure you are using refrigerated ravioli, this has not been tested with any frozen varieties.
Bake ravioli bites until toasted
Place crusted ravioli pieces on a baking sheet and spray them with cooking spray. Spread them apart to make sure all of the sides cook. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve the appetizer and enjoy with a marinara sauce for dipping, I love this homemade marinara sauce recipe!
