I just love the holidays, and Thanksgiving is no exception! One of my favorite past times is to spend quality time with my family, and Thanksgiving dinner gets everyone together for a good, hearty meal.
I decided to try making some Thanksgiving conversation starter cards for the dinner table this year. These are such a fun way to get everyone talking, laughing, sharing what they’re thankful for, and learning more about each other along the way. I want to share, so scroll down to print out these cards for free and cut them out.

Free printable Thanksgiving conversation starter cards
If you want to get people talking at the dinner table this holiday season, print out our fun and free Thanksgiving conversation starters. These cards have prompting questions that are family-friendly and help your guests share what they love about the holiday and what they are thankful for.
Supplies needed for these printable conversation cards:
- Thanksgiving conversation cards printable PDF (please print in color!)
- scissors
- white card stock paper
- burlap twine
- hole punch
- mini stemmed pumpkins (one for each place setting)
Make these free conversation topic cards
So this is probably the easiest DIY to set up. Simply print out the Thanksgiving conversation cards PDF onto a single sheet of card stock paper. You can cut out each of the 10 cards and put them into a jar, spread them on the table, or my favorite, tie them to mini pumpkins and use them as a part of your Thanksgiving tablescape decorations!
If you want to tie your cards onto stemmed mini pumpkins, punch a hole into the left side of each card. Tie your burlap twine first onto the pumpkin stem, then thread it through the hole on the card. Finally, tie a cute little bow to secure.
