How to make watermelon margarita balls
INGREDIENTS
- Fresh whole, seedless watermelon
- 1.5 oz of tequila
- 1 lime (halved, one half cut in two wedges)
- 0.5 oz on Cointreau
- 1 oz of Sparkling Ice Strawberry Watermelon
- ice cream scooper
- melon baller
How to make watermelon shot glasses
To make the watermelon shot glass, cut watermelon in half and scoop out watermelon balls with your ice cream scooper. Cut a thin slice on the bottom of each watermelon ball to make a flat surface for it to sit on. Use a melon baller to scoop out insides, save this part!
DIRECTIONS
Add the watermelon scooped insides to the shaker using a melon baller. Add lime wedges and Cointreau. Muddle together. Add tequila, juice from one-half lime, and ice. Shake and strain into measuring cup. Add Sparkling Ice Strawberry Watermelon. Pour into watermelon shot glass, and serve!
Note: the alcohol measurements make just one watermelon margarita ball, so make sure you account for enough ingredients for the number of watermelon balls you scoop!
