Free Printable Pokemon Valentine’s Day Cards – 6 Designs!
This is a super easy Valentine’s Day DIY, all you have to do is print out the Pokemon Valentine cards PDF and slide in a lollipop to where it looks like the characters are holding it.
No need for store-bought cards this year! There are 6 designs, including a Pokeball, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and the Pokemon trainer guy. Print out as many as you need to be sure the whole class is covered.
Materials needed for Pokemon printable Valentines:
- Pokemon Valentine cards PDF
- white card stock paper
- color printer – or print at your local print shop
- scissors
- tape
- DumDum lollipops– or any small-sized lollipops
Step 1: Print and cut out the Pokemon cards
Print out the PDF and cut out each Valentine. Have your child write names in the “To/From” box on the bottom of each card. Make sure to do this step NOW, as it is harder to write on when the lollipop is in it.
Step 2: Cut a slit for holding the lollipop
You’ll notice that each character has its hand out to “hold” the lollipops. Adults should cut small slits on the top and bottom of the Pokemon character’s hand on each card and carefully slide a lollipop stick through. You can use scissors, or an Exacto knife if you have one. Again: this part is for adults only.
Step 3: Secure the lollipop to the back of the valentine
If you can’t fit the lollipop through the hole, DON’T force it. You’ll rip the card! Just carefully cut the slits a little bit larger. If the lollipop is a little bit loose, go ahead and tape it in place onto the back of the card.
